HPC Fitness Facilities

Our Fitness Desk is the “hub” of activity in our fitness area; here you can:

  • Access any of our staff of highly trained and experienced fitness professionals
  • Schedule a fitness appointment (after your initial assessment and program orientation, these are available every 4 months at no additional charge)
  • Access your individualized workout file
  • Schedule Personal Training (provided for an additional fee) by accessing the trainer of your choice or by completing a Personal Training request form to request contact by our Personal Training Coordinator
  • Sign up for motivating contests, offered throughout the year; these include monthly fitness contests, Member-of-the-Month recognition, and annual recognition of Fit Club rewards

General Fitness Assessments are recommended prior to receiving appointments for most fitness programs; these assessments:

  • Measure muscular strength, flexibility, endurance, aerobic capacity, and body composition
  • Provide opportunities for each member to track his/her progress (through our ongoing reassessment option)
  • Include Bod Pod testing – this is currently the most accurate measurement tool available to assess lean body mass and percentage of body fat

Our exercise area includes:

  • Over 80 pieces of cardiovascular exercise equipment (treadmills, ellipticals, upright and recumbent cycles, rower, versa climber, steppers, and nusteps)
  • Individual television entertainment systems on all CV exercise equipment
  • 2 full lines (26 individual pieces) of Life Fitness selectorized (weight stack) strength training machines
  • A complete free weight area, including dumbbells (1 – 150 lbs), power racks (4), Hammer Strength plate-loaded equipment, Smith machines (2), Life Fitness multi-station and dual adjustable pulley systems, Keiser functional trainers (3), stability and medicine balls, plyometric/step boxes, and a complete stretching area
  • An indoor walking/running track (17.5 laps/mile; this shared track is not available when used for group training by Velocity Sports Performance – available hours are posted at the bottom of the steps leading to the track)
